• I am a Literacy Coach for K-2nd graders. I struggle to find high interest trade books to meet the needs of kids moving out of beginning readers and into more advanced books like Julie B. Jones. This whole series is a SLAM DUNK! I have yet to encounter a kid, boy or girl, who didn't immediately engage in this book!
• My niece loves this series. She's 4 and a half and really enjoys having chapter books (that we read to her). You can get a little breathless when she says, "again" at the end but it's a pretty fast read to do the whole book. I also wanted a comic book starter book for her since I love comics and this was recommended. It isn't written in panels, but it does have that superhero dynamic. Plus, a million extra points for having a female protagonist! The writing is also fun and quirky. There's usually a word choice or phrase or two in each book that makes me laugh. She laughs even more. It's also fun to shout, "EAT GOATS!" Try it next time you're in an elevator with strangers.
• One of the things that I love most about this series is the idea that anyone can become a hero no matter how rough around the edges you might be. In this fifth book in the series, the Princess Magnolia finds herself up against a rather tricky foe. As she travels to visit Princess Sneezewort in a neighboring kingdom, a monster has, unknown to her, hitched a ride on her carriage. As she and Princess Sneezewort enjoy their 'playdate' the monster attempts to eat several pets in a park nearby. Naturally, the Princess in Black rushes to the rescue, but this time she gets help from a surprising source. Princess Sneezewort, having read an article about the Princess in Black, is determined to be a hero, so she dons a disguise and rushes off to help as the Princess in Blankets. But the monster is particularly tricky and can change his shape. Only by working together, using their own unique talents, can the two princesses defeat this monster. Once again, the Hales have written a delightfully funny and adventurous story about following one's own path. Pham's illustrations are gorgeous and complement the story beautifully. A truly winning series that is bound to be loved by young readers.
• I bought this book for my 7 year old, 1st grade, granddaughter. I was visiting for a week and she begged daily to read with me. She finished the book in 5 days. My grandma heart is over the moon! Another reader has been born!
  
  The key take aways from the reading teacher are easy to sound out words that follow the rules, this particular book is great for practicing ea says e. Engaging text that made my granddaughter laugh. It really helps if you like what your reading. Just the perfect amount of sight words. Fabulous pictures, her 4 year old brother like to sit close so he could see the pictures. He loved looking for the hiding monsters. Shannon Hale thank you!
• My 6 year old was in that transition between reading picture books and chapter books. She wasn't really wanting to read the chapter books. I found the first of these Princess in Black books at the store and decided to give it a try. And she's hooked! It is simple enough that she is able to read most of the words on her own. But still has the occasional picture to make it less "boring" on the surface. And the stories themselves are pretty easy to follow for early readers. They have been successful in our home!

• Princess in black series has been my daughter's favorite series for two years. She absolutely has loves growing with these characters and this playdate was great because she loves princess Sneezewort! I love the chapter books with full color pictures and streamlined story making it easy to read lengthy full story books stressing me daughter's reading intelligence.
  Shannon Happy is a favorite in our house as my husband loves the comics she writes for.
• This series is great. The pictures are fabulous, the story is fun and compelling, and the heroines are funny and smart. We have the whole series, and this one did not disappoint. They're great for reading out loud and perfect for independent readers and emerging readers to engage with.

• Whether you are a seasoned grant writer or new to the idea, Winning Grants Step by Step is a text to keep in your library as arsenal for any time you are about to tackle writing a grant proposal. I had to use this text in conjunction with The Only Grant-Writing Book You’ll Ever Need by Ellen Karsha and Arlen Sue Fox for a course specifically on grant writing. I would suggest that to anyone working for a nonprofit, research institution, grassroots project and feel that they have no time to learn how to write a grant or even actually sit and write a grant. This text breaks down every part of a grant step-by-step, as the title says, gives examples of what each section of a proposal should resemble, and also gives worksheets where one can actually put on paper what would eventually become parts of a grant proposal that encompasses every aspect that should be covered.
  
  This text is so simple to read and follow because it is a workbook. It is clearly meant for readers to not only read it, but also get down to work on a grant proposal in a clear and concise way. I was somewhat unaware that this was a workbook and purchased the version, which made it a bit difficult to work on from my phone. However, purchasing the version, I believe, is fine considering the resources from the book are also online resources. Had this been a physical copy purchase, there would be little chance of me being able to use the workbook again for other grants due to the amount of writing I would put on the worksheets. After using this book for my course, I was able to write a grant proposal with relative ease. I do not think that a lot of books need to be read to do it, but this does need to be one of the few you do read.

Filled with good tips, examples and worksheets for more information. After taking some grant writing classes and seeing this book used, it is definitely one to add to your own library.
• This is a great resource for anyone that works in nonprofit development. Although the grant process is becoming more and more streamlined via the internet, it is still a good idea to know how to put together effective proposals so that you can translate that knowledge into a foundation's specific format.
• Step by step workbook making the entire process much less overwhelming. Great advice along the way including how to establish a relationship with foundation entities.
• Very clear, and informative information on grant writing. It goes through each detail with you and gives examples. Very helpful!
• I was really hoping this book had real content to use but it is a GREAT TITLE, GREAT COVER and junk for content.
  If you used this book to write a grant the result would be file 13 or much wasted effort. Don't waste your money or time.
• Extremely useful, step by step guide. Wish they would put the examples back in, like the earlier editions had.

• So, I'm the kind of person that didn't pay attention to certain things growing up. I'm good at outdoorsy stuff but girl stuff seems so difficult. There's things that I've wondered and had no trustworthy way of answering (no thank you google) and maybe they're too embarrassing to ask... but this book was helpful.There were some things I really wanted to know about (money, buying, renting, etc) and some that were TMI in the best possible way (some 'doctor appointments' I'm too scared to schedule because I have no idea what to expect...) I would suggest this to young women 18 to mid twenties who are a little clueless. It helps.
• I'm not finished with this book but I'm loving it. I'm not even embarrassed to say I'm past the "girl age". I am 47yo and feeling like I never received the manual on "how to get along better in life". I have other books like this but they are very dry, too PhD point of view. This book is a breath of fresh air, I'm drinking it like Pellegrino on a warm Spring day. I'm just appreciating this book, the way it's written - in layman terms, with a sense of humor but also with hardcore knowledge and wisdom behind it. A real persons guide to helping navigate real daily problems.
• Excellent. Just excellent. Buy it together with Anne Katherine's "Where to Draw The Line" (about boundaries), and you've got a tremendously thorough and well-researched and reasoned tool kit for the twentysomething female setting out on her own.

So I purchased it in used condition for $7 on and though the front cover was creased, the pages and overall use is light! I love the book itself, it gives so many good tips and teaches women how to get through their 20s!

• I have read many vampire stories and each has been unique. Le Roi Du Sang was unique in the sense that the author didn't try to lessen how cruel, evil, and diabolical vampires can be. Most vampire romances try to hook the reader by making the vampire seem like a hero and by implying that vampires are misunderstood. But the author of this story didn't try to portray Alexandre as someone who didn't want to be a vampire or someone who was loving and kind. Alexandre was ruthless, diabolical, scary, and much more. When he chose his mate, I thought he would soften up, but no, he was still vicious.
  
  You may be wondering from my statement above how could Le Roi Du Sang be a love story? Well, Venus made this story about love. She was not as hardened as Alexandre. She was still able to see the beauty in life and that is what helped him to mellow out when it came to her. He began to see that she was more than just a woman who would be his bride. In other words, she became more than a business transaction for him. He began to see her unique qualities; thus, he fell in love with her. Her love did not change his diabolical ruthless nature, I think it actually enhanced it, which made the story even more interesting.
  
  There were several other ways that the story was different from other vampire stories, but you will have to read Le Roi Du Sang for yourself to find out.
• A turned slave vamp and a Pure Blood king. A match made in blood soaked heaven. Alexandre has been waiting on his queen for years, unwilling to share his life, seed and kingdom with just any vamp to satisfy the whims of the Vampire Council. He wants what’s been promised to him, his Reine du Sang.
  
  Venus has been hiding in plain sight, blending in with the humans of the world, still desperately hanging on the the threads of humanity even as she slinks under the cloak of darkness, hunting to feed the blood lust of the vamp she became over 100 years ago. All the while she has no idea that she is being hunted by her destiny.
  
  When the two soulless souls meet, they turn each other’s worlds upside down. Alexandre, even as he teaches his bride the stark, dark ways of a warrior queen, finds himself being brought to life by the vibrant woman that has been long foretold to be his forever. Venus brings a brightness and buoyancy to her king, and the new found friends that are now a part of her reality. This book is unlike any other vampire tale I’ve come across. You won’t want the story to end.
• This is the baddest of the bad....Le Roi Du Sang is the vampire that who other vampires are afraid of....he is Master of all things go boo in the dark....Anne Rice Lestat should take lessons from Le Roi Alexandre Marseille...lessons on how the baddest Mofo on the block earns the title...he's sexy beast....waiting for centuries to claim his true mate...slaying with a vengeance...fu(king with vengeance mix with fury...until Venus appears....and a fine specimen she is...born into slavery...rescued from degradation and groomed to become the most powerful vampire Queen....it unapologetically exquisite....Tianna Leveen's first vampire story is brilliant....raw....beautiful and I am so happy to be fan girl follower..
• Loved this story! Laveen has delivered again. Fantastic storyline, great characters and terrific scene setting! There are plenty of vampire stories out there, but none that captures the African American trauma and drama, quite like this one. I will say it over and over again, this amazing author delivers 500% every time! Got damn!
• I love any and all things vampire, so when I saw this, from Ms. Laveen, I knew I'd be in supernatural bliss. Sexy is not a strong enough word to describe Alexandre and Venus. They were beautiful together, like they were made for each other. I enjoyed his slightly thuggish ways. For a lawyer/vampire, he had swag for days. Venus was lovable and good hearted from day one. The fact that she managed to stay that way, even after hundreds of years, spoke volumes about her true nature. Whiskey is a wonderful character too, and I hope he gets his HEA. Great storyline with lots of action, drama, violence and sex, everything that makes vampire stories (well written ones) yummy!
• I have several books from this author and have never been disappointed. This book was GREAT. I don't like to give away the story in a book. All I can say is this book is a MUST READ. This book was so good that I could not put it down. I started reading this last night and could not put it down I just finished it this morning. Please tell me you are going to give Whiskey his own story.

The storyline, or set up was good, but if I’m going to be honest it also could’ve been a lot better. The dialogue seemed forced and dare I say, sometimes juvenile. And the climatic scenes were lacking something. There just should’ve been more. This is in no way me trying to compare this paranormal to any other book, although I have read many. No, in this case, there was no sign of build up. The story was to fast paced. It was missing necessary or expected growth. Truly, it was absolutely chaotic, and hard to keep up with the ever changing personalities of the characters until the latter part of the book. I will say that the basic outline of the story was good. This was a good try, but compared to previous books by this author, which I absolutely adore, I was disappointed in the final product.
• I liked the concept of the story but I felt like it was all over the place. It rushed in the beginning and then it just ran from there. Overall the story was decent but definitely needed some more in between.

• In this book Jackson gets his story along with Dahlia who is called Deli. I always wondered what happened when his radiator got a bullet hole. Deli is also a mechanic at the base at Coronado. She came to see of Jackson needed help. From there they kind of joined and began investigating. You also learn a weirdo keeps calling her. I feel the accident may have been to lure her out but you never know. I'm glad she turned to Jackson to help her. Its cool how Manson knows her and she knows Tesla. I love hearing them say Mason's wife. So cute. Interesting how Billings was a MP Jackson was suppose to meet and yet Deli co worker Moe told her to talk to him. Billings and Brown weren't very friendly. I was wondering when Kenen would show up since in each book the next person in the series make an appearance. I loved how ahe said I know Manson's group, I'm bot gettong involved with one of you. So funny in a crazy situation. It was fun to see Macklin's lady Alex. I love hoe Deli knowa a lot of people who are associated with Mason's unit. Poor Macklin having to deal with Alex getting involved but he knew she was a cop. Dang! I couldn't believe who was involved by blackmail. Plus who was all guilty in the scenario. The endings are always action packed and the guy gets the girl. I enjoy how its more a out solving the mystery than bedroom scenes. I can't wait for Kenen's story.
• I absolutely loved this latest book in the SEALS of Honor Series! I was immediately sucked in when Deli comes to Jackson’s “rescue”! At that point there was no putting this book down until I finished it!
  
  I love the inclusion of a female mechanic, especially in the military. Be all you can be lady!
  I enjoy the connections this story has with Mason and his team and the natural camaraderie between Jackson and Deli when they start putting pieces of the puzzle together and chasing down leads. When bodies start showing up, Jackson becomes very protective of petite and fearless Deli and it’s for good reason! Someone is trying to kill her!
  
  I enjoy the ebb and flow of this story and the way this author gives you just a little tidbit of information to lure you along and satisfy your immediate curiosity and then it goes back to being intense!
  
  This is a great story that keeps you guessing all the way to the end. Great ending, by the way!
  Excellent job! I loved it!
• Jackson is driving a rig when it suddenly overheats. He is part of a convey coming back from a training mission and when his rig dies on the side of the road a spitfire named Deli comes to see if she can help. She soon discovers a bullet hole is the cause of the radiator dying. One bullet hole launches and investigation and Deli and Jackson are in the thick of it. Bodies start pilling up and Jackson and Deli need to figure it out before they are next.
  
  Deli is one badass mechanic with a lot of sass. She is a fun character with grit and determination. Jackson is an alpha SEAL who wants to protect her when the bullets fly. Jackson is big and strong and has connections that will help solve this case.
  
  This was a fun, fast read that had a lot of action. I want to be like Deli! I will be sad to see this series end. I look forward to the next one.
• Jackson, a SEAL with many talents, was pulled off on the side of the road. Deli, petite but very talented as a mechanic and problem solver, stops to offer her help. And the adventure begins (perhaps better described as Alice's Trip Down the Rabbit Hole). The story is filled with twists and turns and, oh, more than a few bodies. And throughout the tale I found myself asking "good guy? bad guy? But, but . . . "

• I love SEAL romances and Dale Mayer has to be the queen of this genre because she always delivers a well-crafted story with unforgettable characters. Jackson Pearson, a SEAL who is relatively new to Mason's unit, is sidelined when a bullet takes out his rig but Dahlia "Deli" Montgomery, the best mechanic on the base, captures his heart when she comes to help out. There is lots of nail biting, edge-of-your-seat suspense and action as they work together to solve the mystery of who shot at them and why. This is a must-read for fans of this genre. I can hardly wait to read Kanen's story in book 20 of SEALs of Honor.
  
  I received an advance reader copy of "Jackson" from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review. I also purchased a copy for my keeper library.
• Exciting non stop action from beginning to end, bodies start to pile up and suspicion is on nearly every character in the story. Excluding Jackson, Deli and Kanen of course. Fast paced so no time to stop reading this is a story you just want to sit and inhale, get your snacks and drinks lined up and dive in. What I loved most, the little hugs and lips to the forehead touches that just sort of sneak in as though neither character notice, until well you will have to read it yourself to find out I'm not giving away all the secrets. Suspenseful and dangerous.
• I really enjoyed this story, and I like that they are stand alone and can be read in any order. Dale Mayer is a wonderful story teller. I love that the female character is a mechanic in the military, just like my niece. I love that she is able to take care of her self, but also is compassionate. The two main characters are wonderful together.
• I have many books by Dale Mayer and this one does not measure up. The two main characters get involved in an investigation after they were shot at. I like the characters but there was no chemistry. It was as if they were work colleagues. Also, there was so many characters in the investigation it was hard to follow everything.

• This book's wording should have been included in the indictment of the Bush administration. Ms De La Vega is not a "liberal" she's a former prosecutor who knows criminal law and can clearly document a crime that was perpetrated upon the American people. It's too bad we are "looking forward" instead of cleaning up the mess left by this gang.
  If they get away with it-and so far they have-it sets a horrifying precedent for this nation as long as it stands.
• Methodical and vital reading... A must to better understand the "who, what, when, where" of Iraq and hopefully how to avoid future repetition.

  Because these three excellent books, each dealing with prosecuting George W. Bush, Richard Chaney, and others for crimes they committed between 2001 and 2008, nicely complement each other, it seems appropriate to review them together.
  
  USvB, the shortest* and first to be written (© 2006), is an account of a fictional but realistic presentation to a grand jury of an indictment for "Conspiracy to defraud the United States in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371." (p. 27). The defendants are George W. Bush, Richard B. Chaney, Condoleezza Rice, Donald M. Rumsfeld, and Colin M. Powell It was written by an experienced former federal prosecutor. Albeit the witnesses presented to the fictional grand jury are fictional, the facts they testify to are real.
  
  All three are well-written, but because it is mostly narrative, some may find USvB easier reading.
  
  PBM, the second to be written (© 2008) is the longest* of the three, albeit Bugliosi repeats himself quite a bit, I assume because he has found it effective in making presentations to juries to reemphasize the important points often. As the title suggests, Bugliosi presents a very strong case for the conviction of Bush (and Cheney, Rice, Rove, and Rumsfeld, at least) for murder in the deaths of the more than 4000 American servicemen who have been killed in Iraq. He establishes that the U.S. Attorney General, or the attorney general of any state, or the district attorney of any county of which a resident has been killed in G.W. Bush's Iraq war, has jurisdiction to prosecute, and he establishes that because Bush, Cheney, et. al. committed fraud against the United States by lying to congress to obtain congressional authority to wage war against a nation, Iraq, which was not an imminent threat to U.S., and by thereafter ordering American servicemen and women to fight in Iraq, knowing that some would be killed, Bush et. al. knowingly and intentionally and unlawfully caused the deaths of Americans. The fact that Bush used Iraqis as instruments to commit those murders instead of performing them personally is not a legal defense, any more than it would have been had he hired contract killers to do his dirty work.
  
   PvB, the most recent (© 2010) is a partial autobiography of Charlotte Dennett, who ran for Attorney General of Vermont, promising, if elected, to prosecute Bush for the murders of Vermonters who had been killed in Bush's illegal war. She lost the election, in part because her incumbent opponent, William Sorrell, dismissed her with a false statement that she could not prosecute because the State of Vermont had no jurisdiction. As Attorney General, Sorrell knew, or should have known, that Vermont did, in fact have that jurisdiction, but his lie was widely quoted by Vermont news media, while they declined to report Dennett's reply that established that Vermont did indeed have jurisdiction. So many, probably most voters, were left with the erroneous impression that she didn't know what she was talking about, and thus presumably was incompetent to be Attorney General.
  
  Any one two, or all three of these books are well worth reading, and should be in every school, college, or public library.

• A peek into what would be the most critical grand jury room of our time. To the point dialogue laced with humorous banter, serve to crystallize the meticulously researched and documented facts into an enjoyable read. One of the most dire happenings in our nations history that goes by like a "who dun it." Ms. de la Vega's "just the facts Mam" style is void of the shrill and emotional rhetoric that might allow this subject matter to be dismissed as a partisan witch hunt.
  
  Readers waiting for the next protest march to begin as well as those waking up from a six year coma should consider this required reading.
  
  The service Ms. de la Vega has done with this work is the stuff of true patriotic heroism. I Thank Her, it remains up to the rest of us to see that this is step one not the end of the story.

• Elizabeth hits the nail on the head. This is a 5 star fantasy, I can imagine being in the courtroom and sitting on my hands so I don't jump up and cheer when she twists the knife!
  Great book! Thanks for giving me a great fantasy...now let's visualize impeachment!
• I read Ms. De la Vega's book in two sittings -- hard to put down. She makes a clear, easy to read, convincing case that -- as most American's by now believe -- we were defrauded into the Iraq war by Bush and his administration. I am an avid reader of newspapers, so much of the information was not new to me, but it was startingly to see it all laid out. Account by account falsehoods and misleading representations, day by day, lead up to the infuriating conclusion that this war was truly a war of choice.
  
  I disagree with the reader who stated that one's enjoyment depends on politics. This book should be required reading by every American -- our country was lead into war. We need to hold those responsible accountable. There is nothing partisan or political about the legal analysis.
  
  Only quibble is -- as the Publisher's Review quote notes -- the attempts at humor and conversations with the grand jurors seems forced and cutesy. Stick with the facts of your case -- they are an absorbing read all alone.

• I enjoyed reading The Exhibitionist. This is the 6th book in the Submissive Series. I read someone else’s review saying they read this book as a standalone and I do think you could do that but, you do miss out on the character development of Abby & Nathaniel West. They have so much history together. I really enjoyed this book and the love that Nathaniel has for Abby is amazing. We also found out Nathaniel is human and makes a very big mistake. I can’t say more about it because I don’t want to give any spoilers.

  The only book that I wasn’t crazy about was book 2 The Dominant and the only reason I wasn’t crazy about the book was I felt I had just read the entire story in Book 1. Of course The Dominant is Nathaniel’s POV and Book 1 The Submissive is Abby’s POV. Also, these books aren’t cheap and I have bought each one of them so I felt that a repeat of the story was unnecessary and a complete waste of my money. Other than that I have enjoyed reading each of these books.
  
  But, enough of that. I give The Exhibitionist 4.5 stars and I can’t wait to get started with The Master!
• I was gifted a copy of this novel for an honest review. Tara Sue Me has another amazing 5 star read in The Exhibitionist. One would think that after so many books about one couple, there wouldn't be anything new to write about but these books just keep getting better. I love Nathaniel and Abby's story. I love that after so many years together, Nathaniel and Abby are still learning new things about the other. We see Abby's jealous side come out in full force in regards to Charlene and I have to say I loved the way she was able to handle the intense situation that occurred at a party regarding her. Even though she was collared at the time, she didn't let that stop her from telling Nathaniel how wrong he was. Nathaniel let her say her peace because he knew he was wrong. I was so happy that he owned up to his error and it truly showed how much Abby really means to him and his life and future. I'm not sure I will ever get tired of their story. It's wonderful to read how when they are in a scene and she is hearing Nathaniel's voice telling her something when she is doubting herself or him. They are by far my favorite book couple. And I can't wait to see what Tara will bring us next time with Abby and Nathaniel. And I am very excited to read The Master regarding Sasha and Cole.

  Nathaniel and Abigail explore more on Abby's interest in exhibitionism, hence the title of the book. They've been married for awhile and have two beautiful kids. But, what if doubts set in on Nathaniel's dom skills to fulfil the needs of his sub? Or Abby's jealousy gets a hold of her? Will things go well for our blissfully wedded couple?
  
  Firstly, I have to say I love, love, LOVE this book. Especially that particular scene near the end. Tugged so much at the heartstrings, I had to tear. I already loved the direction the book was going, but that one crucial scene... *sighs* It sealed the deal. Not everyone is perfect. ;)
  
  Nathaniel and Abigail aren't the only one we see here. The other Partners in Play characters play a huge part as well. We see a happy Jeff and Dena from the previous book and of course, Daniel and Julie are moving forward in their relationship as well. Cole Johnson is the key player here. Is it bad I wanna know more about the badass Brit? Especially with a particular submissive? ;) I hope she gets her sass back. February can't come fast enough.
• Nathaniel and Abigail's, story continues, with a lot of love, passion, hot kinky sex as well as trust issues, insecurities and drive to keep it all in proper prospective. Nathaniel, has excepted a position with the partners in play group which led him and Abby to buying a house and moving to Delaware with the kids, but while Nathaniel is trying to lead this group he also has to keep Abby happy, satisfied and pushed to her very limits.
  While Abby, is excited with the move, making new friends and the play group, her and Nathaniel are trying new ways to keep there D/s relationship fulfilling. As Abby, is enjoying their new life in Delaware, she's enjoying the direction her Master, is pushing her in, until lines get crossed, lack of communication and insecurities comes into play and all can be lost. Will Husband and wife survive? Will Master and submissive loose the most important part of themselves...TRUST?!

"If you’ve enjoyed the previous stories in this series, you will likely enjoy this too. Is the writing perfect? No, it’s far from it. But I nevertheless find myself sucked into this series without being able to put the books down, and this newest edition is no different. This is probably my favorite of the bunch, perhaps because of Harley’s vulnerabilities, or perhaps because this is the first time in the series I’ve actually enjoyed when the author switches to another character’s perspective. In this book, Harley races against the clock to try to safely deal with her suppressor slowly breaking. I do think that sometimes, some of the things Harley (or the other characters) are up against rectify themselves too easily, which feels unrealistic and a bit of a cop out, but I read the book in a day and ended with a longing to read more. I truly cannot wait for the next installment."

• There is so much going on in this book. The Rag team are trying to outwit Katherine which is proving to be a mammoth task. Running parallel to that thread are the blossoming relationships between the four couples. There is a lot of teenage angst, self discovery and support within this group of magical. Levi the dictator is doing his best to hinder any progress they try to make and his hatred of Harley has blinded him to her potential of being able to take on Katherine as she is the only one who has the power to do it. This series is a entertaining and their are nuances of Harry Potter in these chapters. The quest to seek retribution and save the world may be Harley's undoing, only time will tell.

• This was so incredibly intense! The visuals and emotions kept me gripping my kindle. I was so afraid it would end that I kept checking to make sure I still had more to read, just in case. Bella Forrest did not disappoint!!! I so desperately wished I could jump right inside this book to see what they see and experience everything with them. You aren't going to be able to put this down once you start!
• So I am 5 books in and I am going to keep reading! Strong "world building" in that it takes place in the real world, but with just something a little extra like popping through portals and quick visits to different "worlds" but mostly in places you would recognize like San Diego, New Orleans, or Paris. Harley is really coming into her powers and I want to see where it goes - so book 6 is definitely on my list! One bonus is that this is really an adventure for Harley and her friends, it isn't just a romance where the "action" is miscommunication - oh no - this is exciting, fun characters and a few twist and turns to keep it interesting (and of course some romance). Much better to read this series in order - make sure to get Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven to get started.
• I consider these books an "adult fairy tale". I bought and read the first one. I immediately bought the second, the third and so on. I am now waiting for number 6 to be loaded on my kindle. They may be written for"young readers", but I'm past 70 and am enjoying them immensely! Try them you'll like them!!!
• I can’t believe Finch is coming back into the mix! This is so crazy! Super sad about Price! Wish he could’ve had a bigger role. Seemed like a super cool guy! Ugh! The wait for the next book is going to be unbearable! Well done for the millionth time Bella! Well done!

• Reminiscent of the Harry Potter books, yet with original storylines. The plot constantly and quickly moves forward with never a dull moment. A terrific book/series for YA and adults alike since there's never a lot of graphic violence nor gratuitous sex to keep younger readers away.
• I am hooked on this series. Bella Forrest please keep writing these. I'm hoping for at least 8 books. These books catch you and yes they aren't perfect. They definitely needed a couple more edits but once you get past that trust me it'll be worth it. <3

• I absolutely loved this first book in the Perfect Gentlemen series. There is so much happening and so much intrigue, it is hard to figure out who the good guys truly are and what everyone's agenda is. This is the story of six very powerful men who became a brotherhood during their youth while all at Creighton Academy starting in grade seven. The academy tried to turn them into "perfect gentlemen" and they did not succeed. Gabrilel Bond, billionaire businessman, Roman Calder, right hand man to the President of the United States, Connor Sparks, CIA, Daxton Spencer, military, Zachary Hayes, President of the United States, and Maddox Crawford, billionaire businessman. The book starts out when they initially come together for the funeral of one of the six at which time Everly Parker comes into the picture. Everly is a beautiful young woman who is one of the best hackers out their in cyber security and who else she is comes as a big surprise. There is so much going on that is found out involving the death of their "brother in the Perfect Gentlemen hood" that you have to literally keep a scorecard . As well keep in mind that there is also so very hot and sexy times with Everly and another of the gentlemen. These are some of things that made me love this first book in the series and cannot wait for the next to see how the story continues.
• Scandal Never Sleeps is a terrific book.
  Lexi and Shayla wrote a smart book with smart but flawed characters.
  Scandal Never Sleeps introduces us the Perfect Gentleman Gabe, Maddox, Zack, Connor, Roman and Dax.
  They formed an unbreakable bond in school and became brothers.
  
  Scandal Never Sleeps opens with the funeral of one of the members playboy Maddox Crawford.
  The same Maddox who took Gabe under his wing, who always got his friends in trouble, and left Gabe's sister pregnant and deserted her.
  Or so it seems…
  The book is filled with twists and turns.
  Scandal Never Sleeps is action packed and fast paced.
  We see the PG mourn the death of their friend.
  We learn someone may have killed Maddox and that revelation makes Gabe let go of his anger and work towards finding the truth.
  I loved all members of the PG. They all had their weakness and strength's.
  The story was complex but written in a way that it was easy to follow the progression.
  
  I love Everly Parker!
  She is the leading lady I admire strong, smart, sexy, resourceful, and confident.
  She met Gabe but didn’t know who he was to Maddox.
  They spent a weekend full of passion without knowing they are connected to Maddox Gabe as his best friend and the beneficiary of his will, and Everly as the one and only woman he had a close relationship with (one that didn’t involve sex).
  Gabe was suspicious of Everly after he found out she worked closely with Maddox. That suspicion made him act like an idiot towards her.
  But his jealousy had to wait as he was named as the suspect in the killing of Maddox.
  I loved Everly 's strength in standing up to herself. She didn’t let lust cloud her judgment and didn’t forgive Gabe easily for hurting her.
  She acted in a level headed manner. She was surrounded by Alpha males , that granted were Maddox's childhood friends, but she also had a stake in finding the truth and played a major role in uncovering the truth.
  
  Liv was an asset to the investigation regarding the death of Maddox. She played an active role, knew she was in danger but acted like the smart person she is (both professionally and personally).
  
  As I said, the story is fast paced, but despite all the discoveries, the book ends with an HEA for Everly and Gabe, but the investigation into his death is on going.
  Sin Never Sleeps uncovers some ugly truths and makes the participants make some hard choices. But life is like that. Money and power don’t equal happiness or security from hurt.
  I loved the way Lexi and Shayla ended the book.
  The story is complex enough that sequels are necessary.
  Looking forward to reading Seduction in Session Lara and Connor's story.
